Inag. 08

COLD AS THE POLE IN THE WINTER, I HAD TO GO!!!

After watching the Lakes whip up on the Cavs and Kobe puts to bed the lebron talk as the best player in the world, I was snuggled up in my former room at my brother's house. A good night sleep in the room where I got my cheery popped is always a good thing. As I layed and dreamt about me and Serena working on our backhand, I was awakened by a phone call. It was more good buddy Lance waking me up to go to the Inag. I was really contempt with staying in bed and going back to my dream as Venus was coming over and perfecting her over-hand stroke. But this was big, this was history---ok no more over used superlatives. So I jump up put my jeans over my pajamas pants, layer up the thermal etc. and headed out to the park and ride and waited for the commuter bus to the metro station. The line was was uber long, long like Pippen arms. With the temps in the low teens, there was still a warmth going around. Even though I was by myself, I really wanted my Dad to be be there. The whole day was making me remember the Million Man March. Now that was sumthing to behold, Im truly blessed to have a father who gave and ish about me and my brothers becoming men and leaders....Thanks Baba. Back to the lecture at hand, as we boarded bus and heading down to the Greenbelt Metro and the sun had came up, I realized, it was some of the greatest collection of woman I ever scene. Truly incredible, like if this was held in the spring/summer it would be the HU homecoming, Freaknic, The Greek, South Beach and Mardi Gras all rolled in one. You know it major when you look good in thick winter coats.................Whoa. Getting back, the rush to get metro tickets was a zoo. At least 30k people in a a 100ft area. Luckily I had my smart trip car already ( privileged to ride the metro for 3 years straight). Now the only beef I had is the out of towners on the metro. They really don't know ish, I mean it a simple system,.....Hello its color coordinated. Now I do have to admit Metro closed L'fant Plaza which threw major plans away. Nevertheless , I got downtown to Chinatown in about 35m. Getting out on 7th street was wild, it was uber packed. I realized I was about 10 blocks from the action so I had to get my bop on. I beefed up my Ipod the night before just for this occasion. I need some Bop music, this is the stuff when I was like 14 and we had to Bop/walk to the Columbia Mall and you had the Sony Walkman with the automatic flip joint. I d-l a few joints:
I had to d-l this, I've heard this in DieHard 4 and wonder who sang it. It's Creedence Clearwater Revival. Some old-school backwater rock band.......I love it. Take a listen to Bad Moon Rising also.

Naw this joint takes me back to running home to see Rap City.I will put big money that you will watch the clip and later that night you will just burst into the hook. Hey-ya Hey-ya Ho!!

Ohh and this was just too deep. Me and my brother used to play Madden 95 to this joint.

Aight you tasted a little of my Inag. Soundtrack, now back to the crowds. I walked down to Independence Ave and set-up shop. In a sense I was at the back door of the US Capitol. The crowd was getting uber thick out there. They actually turned many people away from the Purple Section that had tickets. They were quite peeved, to be honest they could have rioted out there, it was that many people. Could you imagine you came from Oklahoma and couldn't get in. One major highlight fo mines was seeing the great wordsmith Jesse Jackson. Now I know some diss Jesse but I truly respect what he has done for the country. Now he came out his mouth wrong but ish who hasn't'. I complied my top 2 Jesse moments from my lifetime:
Hey he thought the camera was off, so he spoke greasy......No Biggie

Maybe the funniest SNL skit ever, Please listen----Eddie at his comedy peak. For the Soul Food District to the Bagel District(pardon for the quality).

Back to the Inag., the street vendors were caking up. I've seen everything from Obama lighters to Obama bed sheets. I love it, every one is eating off it, I want to see the economic impact on th DC tourism just for this weekend. Getting back, as I hear the sworn oath over the speakers, I headed to the metro and clapped as I just seen history. Very Deep.

With being still early in January, I wanted to breakdown my sports new years resolution. I decided to become a legit Nationals fan. Very hard yet I think it could quite cool. When saying “legit” I mean knowing who the back-up catcher is, knowing who leads the team in steals with out going to espn.com. I talked to my good buddy Peachy about committing to at least 10games. I'm looking forward to it, I'm actually glancing over some blogs getting more info on the team. Heres a few good ones:

It should be fun and interesting. Love watching live games but cant stand watching on tv unless the Kees, Soox or Cubbies. I'm getting psched thinking about it, hell I might even play some fantasy baseball.

SideNotes
In the glow of all the Obama talk-hiphop is still not fully understood
.
There such a gap between the right and the hip-hop community. When I listen to the, the lyrics I don't see much harm. I don't know what the Right really wants, your adding 400+ years of disenfranchisement and pain, and overnight you think it's gonna be all good. Sorry we walk and talk with a certain chip on our shoulders, hip-hop in it's purest form is always brash-loud and rebellious. Get Over it.........My Prez. Is Black bytch!!!!

One of the first dvd's I saw was the new version of The Island of Dr. Moreau. Wow what a stinker,it also doubles at the the first dvd's I broke-up weed on (hey it was 10+yrs ago). Even though it was one of his last and horrible roles, Marlon Brandon is a true movie star. I found this interesting clip on his 1972 Oscar speech. Truly Powerful- I wish some of these faux movie stars and athletes would stand for more instead of what 20th century and Nike tell you what to do.!!(couldn't embed, you have to hi-light link and put in your browser, We'll worth it. Comparable to when ODB shutdown the Grammy's>>)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QUacU0I4yU

In with that, I need a Obama detox (dre can we get the album..were begging). Enough is enough I love the guy like the next man but come on. All day and every day, hey like Nice and Smooth said “no static got an automatic to much of anything makes you an addict”. So here aT the most wicked'est blog in the union, no more Obama talk for a little. There plenty of other stuff to discuss and rant about. I'm working on getting more info on the tightest news reporter and the great Smoke-a-thon. Please put your 3-D glasses on....were coming for ya!!!

BIG UP TO JOSE DA SPANIARD AND MEECHI FOR THERE NEW BORN SON DAVID JOSE GARCIA....I HEARD HE ALREADY HAS A LEFT HAND AND CRAZY HANDLES.
