This is the best NBA playoffs have ever been. Just recently my brother held his soon to be annual Man’s Weekend. He cooks’out and celebrate the NBA playoffs quad-header on sat. and Sunday. I want to give props and homage for extending your great house and cooking to a bunch of knuckle’heads. The games were simply amazing. Lakers have taken care of bidness, Spurs too, the biggest surprises are the Celtics and Pistons. There way the so- called cream of the east and there struggling wit below 40 win teams…….typical. Anyways the off’s have been gr8. The best series so far is the Zards’ and Cavs. It has gotten very chippy good playoff intensity. The intensity reached a creshendo when Jigga released a diss-song at deshawn Stevenson. The main beef I have is WHYYYYYYYY!. Jigga is a zillion’aire, Lebron is damn near a billion’aire and Deshawn is a multi-millon’aire so why are we making diss song. I love trash-talking but come-on Deshawn is a nobody…..go out Gilly or Caron….just more coon’ish behavior from one of our heroes. Last Saturday, I went to my homeboy Lance house down in Bmore {side note: When I tell people im from around Baltimore they always ask “Do I know where the Wire is???} Anyways we watched the NFL Draft up there. It amazing how big and powerful, we spent over 8 hrs watching the draft just wasting our life away on players that wont even be in the league in 3 years. Damn u….King Goddel. Anyways funny story, we went to a lil’ bar down there, and it was Ravens Country heavy. My friends LA and Peachy wore Skins and Giant apparel. They were chanting some pretty foul language when the Skins picked…..lol it was all good. I had a really good tyme out there, the area has a lot of bars and young people out there…….and some nice slices (wink). I think were goin to Preakness in 2 weeks, all fans and peasants are more then welcome to meet me out there.

Just one week to the most talented artist of the 20th century was born……………..not me……..Stevie Wonder but I was also born on the same day. Sorry for the late updates, but were goin to kick it up a notch.

This is one of the funniest blogs ever created. The funny thing about it is, many blacks I know do the same stuff but then again I’m from the burbs’. I have a interesting take on the whole Gentrify –issue. One one hand I would love to see the neighbor hoods stay with the people who lived there before but on the other hand if the hood is rundown and decrypted then why not. Me and my good friend used to live in southeast DC. One of the most notorious hoods in all the world. For us it wasn’t a big problem because we didn’t get into the hype of fear the media portrayed the area as. Every morning I saw a kids in uniforms and workin adults hop on the train and go to work. On the other hand there was crime and other issues that arise when jobs and hope are scarce. About 2 years ago they tore down an old project and built huge townhouse….townhouse that the previous tenants couldn’t obvious afford. In short Southeast is blown up, they just opened the new 611 million new stadium and the Grand Harbor right off the Potomac. Huge money makers financed by the huge greedy corporations but who’s goin to reap those benefits……….

DC all in all is a football town, Skins are Kings. Think about the Wiz and Capitals have been much better and still struggle to sale out. You think we could have done something more productive with 611m. Like maybe find some alternatives to cut down on crime. Sorry I was gone for so long, just been destroying and rebuilding. But Im back like spine and car seats. Lets digg’in…..Can u Dig it.

First and foremost a huge shout out to my second family, The Mccrearys for throwing my first Final 4 party. The spread of chicken wings, jambalaya( Mrs. Paula even made it from smoke turkey cause she knew me and my brother don’t even beef or pork), fresh salad and a top-notch Juice Game. As the 1st game was ended and I was met wit Kevin Love is overrated…blah-blah, I was digging in for the UNC-ku game. This was supposed to be the second to last step to our coronation as 08 champ. Funny thing happened-Roy didn’t get the boys ready to play. We were buzz-sawed by ku. They jumped on us up by at least 15 before Roy called a timeout. Why??? The only coach that successfully doest call timeouts to stop run’s is Philly Jack. I was shocked and stunned, totally speechless. The second half was a diff. story, we made a historical run and cut the lead to 4. But when Danny Green is playing the best on your team, ur in trouble. At that moment I knew ku was goin to win the chip; when UNC cut the lead to 4 and ku called a timeout, in the past ku would have chocked the game away. Not this year they regrouped and finished us off. Then on Monday they finished Memphis off after a un/probable Jenna Jameson like choke job. Congrats to ku but I’m very disturbed by the UNC loss. The boys fought hard but they just looked so unprepared and severly out-coached. Luckily, I had a vision…….both Ty comes back, Ellington gets better, the incoming freshman gel pretty early and we we go 35-0 and cut the nets down…….That the only thing that can erase this ugly loss

Now that March Madness is over it now onto College Football….which in my opinion is the best all seasonal sport. The rivalries, the uber propensity of upsets make it a sports fan wet dream. As everybody knows im a huge Notre Dame Fan, which in the last few years has gotten me sliced and diced by my friends. Last year was brutal, I don’t mind losing games but to not even physically compete is very hard to see. But there always next year….and next year is now. As the gr8 Dickie V would say this is cupcake city. We can easily go 10-2 and maybe even 11-1 beating a young new adjusted Michigan. We have 6 home-games and a neutral site game against Navy. This schedule stinks to the high heaven, I can see the headlines coming into the USC game, 10-1 ND is playing for a BCS bowl and Weis is bringing prominence back to South Bend. Just Watch…..but I will also enjoy beating Michigan tail (Marbs and Mike.lol). Less than 4 months to football season starts u suckas. Another funny thing ran across was a rebuttal to the mantra “ND doesn’t put out NFL players : http://www.uhnd.com/blog/2008/nfl-irish/irish-players-define-2007-08-nfl-playoffs/ . Justin Tuck, Ryan Grant and Derek Landri all played pivotal roles in the NFL postseason.

On to the NBA, I was very impressed with the Wiz, Phx Suns and Mavs. They played hard and had key wins. The Wiz are a very scary/unpredictable team. No team can boast 3 legit all-stars except Boston. They can score, hit 3 play ok defense and only avg 13 turnovers. Depending on where they seed they might be my upset special. I love the way The daddy is playing. Like he said after there tuff win in SA, “he the best 36 yr old”. I would have to uniamously agree, most can’t or don’t want to remember Hakeem on the Raptors and Ewing on the Sonics/and Magic. They were sad shells of there former self’s, al while Shaq is avg a legit double-double and making his team a legit Finals contender…..long live the Diesel. Lastly the Mav’s played big the last 2 weeks. Gotta give Dirk his due, they will be a tuff out in the West.

Now onto all the college players and the dumb’ass media/coaches giving them static about going pro. Listen I’m such a strong proponent of the kids leaving getting there butta and not having to risk the careers while making these University boku cash. That one-year rule is pure bs. They only have to take 6 credits (basically 2 classes) so you can kill that there for education talk. I only have one phrase for Stephen Curry….Get yo money mane’. I got into a big argument wit my friend from 4th grade Peach. He thinks Curry should stay in school, I think he star will never be hotter then it is right, next year he wont be able to sneak up on anybody plus it frickin’ Davidson…….I have 2 examples of ok players that should have left and got there money but instead comeback and lost millions, Terrance Morris and John Gilchrist . For those who forgot, Morris was 6/10 long arm 4-man that had a killer ACC season and a killer NCAA tourney. . He should have left after that but for some reason he came back and had a horrible senior year. He did get drafted in the 2nd round and played a few season for the Rockets but never got the pay day he deserved. By the way check-out wat he’s doing now

“Get your money Mane”. Now onto John Gilchrist, he was a good freshman pg who had a monster Acc tourney. They got hot and beat the 5x Acc Champ Duke. He should have left and would have at least been a late 1st rd pick. Unfortunately he came back got into with Coach Williams and eventually got kicked off the team and kicked out of school. One of the lamest aspects of the NFL season was those bull’ish NFL networks games. One of the main reason was the horrible announcing team of Chris Collinsworth and Bryant Gumbel. Just my Thoughts….How I felt at the tyme

Best story of the last few weeks was that beatdown those girls gave the other chick. It always so refreshing to see rich privilege white girls beat the shyt out of to other rich white girls……….
I had to splice it wit some crazy ass Indian Thriller video, Shyt is hilariously. Anyways I found out Dr. Phil bailed out one of the girls. WTF: . Even though he pulled the offer back, he still a P.O.S. Now do we even have to identify the racial undertones of the incident? Can we all agree that if these were 8 black females and 2 black guys as lookout and the victim was a white girl……..They would have locked them up with no bail, the arresting officers would be wearing dashikis and afros, Bill O’Reilly would pack his show up and broadcast live from there execution……..Aww the spoils of victory.

In other Coon’ass news, a once hero of mine has once again fell into the trap that Ma’ssa Clinton and them has set. I’m updating my top 10 Man Movie list and adding Inside Man. The acting was phenomenal and the directing/cinematography were incredible. I really thought Clive Owen was going to take it the next level in his career but then he dropped that brick Shoot’em Up. I’ve digressed but the point I was connecting was the article I read about the owner/founder of IKEA. His team is in the midst of playing some good ball and getting into the offs’ and now he get’s a uckin DUI. Now I have 2 angels of thought on this matter. First I have a clique of about 10 friends and I’m broke, he has a clique of friends and his a multi-millionaire, why in the hell is even driving. If I wouldn’t even leave the house without a driver. Secondly why leave the house; bring the uckin party to ur house. I would have a basement with a pole, about 7 flattys, all the liquor and beer you want but ‘uck a damn club. When I heard he was arrested I knew the media was goin to kill him on this. Good luck Melo, ur goin to need it.
