I have a few days to digest some heavy stuff: the uber bowl debacle, the laker’s trade the daddy-diesel goin out west …again. Where do I start, The Uber Bowl was an incredible game. I’m not goin to get into the details cause I’m sure u heard all week about them. The one thing I want to address is the Pats backlash; some are even saying there reign on the top was short like leprechaun. I don’t quite see it that way, they got some good pieces in place and the number 7th pick in the draft. U gotta think about it like this, they play the Jets, Fins and Bills twice. That’s 6 wins now lets say they go .500 the rest of the 10 games, that 11-5 and damn good enuff for the offs’. Now they do have needs and issues to address. I think they can leverage the 7th pick for more pick later in the draft. They might even think about trading the 7th and Assante Samules (sign and trade that the other team aggress to give him a big contract) for a nice package of picks like 2 2’s a 4th and 2 4th round picks. This reminds of my old Madden days as de facto GM. I used to love winning the chip in franchise mode and then trading all the players over 30plus wit high cap numbers. It was gr8 building ur dynasty wit young draft picks and finding cheap free agent talent like Devry Henderson (97 speed, wink Donnie). The fact that you could lock up all that young talent for much cheaper rather then pay for those high-price fa was just not fiscally smart.. That why I would always pick Madden over NCAA Football. In NCAA the best teams get the best player….period, it’s that simple. Most of crew plays with top teams: USC, Mia, Mich, Tex…u get the point. U wanna be a tru champ start a franchise with North Texas. Back to the Pats; 1st they gotta sign Moss and let Assante Samuels. Once in a lifetime WR’s are special and Avg. CB’s that play in a good system do. No offense to the boi, but avg players don’t need 10 mill a season. They should also go after Julius Peppers. He’s 27, wit a little infusion and passion, he will be the best pass rusher in the league. Speaking of Peppers he by far and away the best athlete in the NFL…..don’t believe watch:

Now to the LB corps, Vrabel good, Brushi can comeback but at lesser role, maybe a 3rd down linebacker and he’s gonna have to take a paycut. If Bellichik can call his old coach, the Tuna he can swing a trade for Channing Crowder. He’s young, unknown and has the range and speed to be a beast in that 3-4 defense. These are small personnel issue that will get the Pats hungry for another run but the real issue the Mind-state…The Psyche.

It kind of reminds me of the 2004 Lakers. I remember the 2003 Lakers losing to the Spurs after goin for there 4th str8 chip. It was a shock, not in the Spurs beating the Lakes but the fact that they weren’t the best any more, like it was there right to win the chip every year. I can vividly remember that series so clear. There was no way we were gonna lose to them, Shaq and Kobe were just amazing…no way…..

Game 3 was so live that Jack Nick from the sideline got a tech and that just fired the whole Staples up. But in the end the Spurs won and that would set the table for the 2004 team. Look at the emotions on Dfish face….powerful. They felt they needed to get stronger at the 1 and 4 so they picked up Karl Malone and Gary Payton. The Pats picked up Randy “str8 cash” Moss and Make u say Oww like Junior (who Marble calls the Karl Malone of football players). Both had gr8 distractions…..Kobe Rape trial and Spygate. Both breezed thru there regular season and got to the Finals/Super Bowl. Then something happened, something clicked, the shine of both teams quickly lost there luster. The Lakers were eviscerated in the finals; Don Jaun calls it the first 5 game sweep. I was the most shocked person in the world, it didn’t seem right, it was like how could it happen, I’m sure Pat fans feel the same way “how in the hell did we only score 14pts”. Maybe it was the enormous pressure of being the best all year long, crazy expectations, I know it was classic underachievers like Chauncey and Eli putting it 2gether. We all know what happened to the Pats. The Lakers never quite recovered from that year, Phil left, and Shaq was traded. What the future of the Pats, only time will tell.

The Daddy is headed out west. I’m not going to get into the details (that why u have sports center) but best believe Phx. got the best of the deal. I’m not a huge Marion fan, he does some nice things but doest create his own shit, doesn’t play good d (no steals is not playing good defense, that just means your uber quick and get into those passing lanes). Listen, the Suns were never gonna get to the finals wit Marion….ever…period. The Daddy delivers like Fed-Ex.. This isn’t a trade about a lot of strategies and x and o’s, this is about an attitude …a swag.. a way of life…..Diesel fuel is skyrocketing bitches.

Now to our beloved Skin…….one phrase…”Wat the Uck”, the hiring of Jim Zorn is a debacle. It’s not a knock on him rather then the skins brass. How in the hell do u sign a coach that has never been a head coach and not even a offensive coordinator. Ok, he was the QB coach at Seattle but Hello…Idiots Mike Holmgren is like the Qb coach of the last quarter century so how much input did he have. So let me ask y’all this; if u was CEO of a company, would u hire the mailroom clerk as the vice-president….uck no but that wat Danny did. Don Juan made a good point, this is veteran teams that were very close to the old coaches, and there gonna revolt on the new guy. Now I think that a tad extreme but lets say there 3-7 and totally out the playoffs, I can see Santana and Portis starts ish’n on Zorny. This is bad all around, why wasn’t a minority coach even in the equation. If ur requirements include no experience and ur goin to hire all the coordinators u could have gotten a Mike Singletary and started from there. This move just stinks but what even stinker is the cap situation. But wait it gets worse, Cornelieus Griffith had 28 tk and 2.5 sacks all for the paycheck of 6.6 mil…..Wat the uck’……Lastly our gr8 center is making 3.8mil, for a damn center…..I’m sorry let me get one more in…Shawn Springs made 7.3 mil, highest on the team all for 57 tk and 4 int. Dood the Skins problem is in the front office, 1st step get a GM.

The Brawl for it All……….Since we can’t get along we gotta get it on!!!

This is the Uber-Bowl edition. Here’s the low down u have a good team playin great, u have a great team playing good right now. What gonna give. I been watching the nfl network this whole week (bullshyt u get this lame ass network and not espn classic or nba tv) but that’s another topic. The coverage has been lame at best wit lame ass reporters and a bunch of has been’s ( terrel davis and trent dilfer) and a bunch of never was beens (jim mora and your future coach of my beloved redskins Coach Mooch). Media day a damn joke, once again the nfl trying to play both sides of the fence…….hardcore football junkie losers and the vh1-tmz clique. Either way who cares….I don’t give a ish about a someone askin Tom Brady to marry her……..who gives a ish, Now a blow-job on the trophy podium after the game will be a tad more interesting; I’ve regressed!!!!!. The point being the Super Bowl is pretty lame until the actual game is played and someone wants to stop history and and someone want to create history…..it the same theory of watching a porn. Let say porn is 2 hrs; one might only watch only 15 mins of footage, with a lot of fast-forward and bam right to the money shot. So once the pre-game is over we get to hear Troy and Joe Dumb’ Uck. I mean this guy is the epitome of why I turn the down my tv unless Emmit is doing pre-game “they got blowed out”. Buck’s preppy rich kid smuggy way about him just makes me sick.

So after all that after the combined 4 turnovers in the 1st half, 3 by Eli, a pik-6, botched snap and fumble when Vrabel hits that corner and blaw!!!, the Gints will be down 21-6 at half. The BS halftime reports that give the team up a way bigger advantage cause it’s a 20 min half-tyme. The Pats will come out and throw deep 3 str8 times. Moss will take one to the house and the game will be unofficially over. Some scrub points back and forth and the Final score will be 42-21. I could go into all those stats…time of possession, yard per catch etc. But that mean’s squat to me. This isn’t about what the Gints can do, it about the Pats and what they allow you to do. There perfect….the Best Team ever, All ya’ll hesitant to give them that title need to wake up. Think about it, were in the midst or Revolution…..A black and a woman are serious presidential candidates, the Pats are the gr8est football team ever and Sly Stallone came out wit a new Rambo………

Happy Days are here again….The Lakes pulled the trigger on one of the best steals in the 21st century….The were able to get Pau Gasol, he of career numbers 18-8-3 for the oft criticized Kwame Brown. I mean this is a gr8 move, it give the Lakes one of if not the best Front line in the entire NBA. They got length, height size, can score can rebound, Odom and Gasol are gr8 passers. All while they control the middle…..you got Beans killin the perimeter…….This is a gr8 trade, I will get more in-depth later, but Happy Days are here again.
