No this wasn't a real fight at the MGM with Mike Buffer as the announcer, this is much bigger. Pussy wins all the time....even more then Money. Evans was an up and coming Athletic Director at one of the most powerful school (Univ. of Georgia)...he was the 1st black AD in the the most powerful conference in the world-SEC. Basically he was making close to 500k doing what he loved.

Look at some of the recent NBA Kilaz--Shaq (dominant college coach like Dale Brown and Step-Father), Jordan(dominant college coach Dean Smith and Dad) & Kobe (Phil Jackson and Dad), Magic (Dominant ncaa coach Jud Heathcote, Pat Riley, Dad) and lastly Bird(The mere fact that he talked 'ish and dominated a Black Sport makes him a Killa). Aight Can I dig-in….Go Head Son!!.. What an interesting book title. So where do I start….the 1st fatal flaw is in the title. Why are you looking at a Rich and Famous Actor for you mate. I truly don’t think guys say wow i wish i could date Alicia Keys (maybe twist up for a night or 30 but not date). I was recently having a discussion with one of the most lovely ladies I know. She said her family mission was to get her sister married. That mentality seems 1940’s….So here’s her sister who is smart,funny, educated lady and her life mission isn’t to start her own business or continue her education but its to find a husband. When in reality she will probably make more then her hubby out the gate. The weakness in that way of thinking is depending on another person for your completeness. My father wears a button that says Do For Self. That’s not to mean be a selfish ass but more handle your business before your business handles you.

Where do we go from here….Who the hale knows. It will take some disciplined and new way of thinking on both sides. I just don’t know if we have the humility and humbleness to change ….

First and foremost, I hope you all had a glorious and happy Thanksgiving. As I enjoyed the delicious leftovers on Friday morn’….a Tiger Woods story came on the bottom-line crawl. Tiger Woods in a serious car accident. The 1st thing that came to my mind was I hope he’s ok, personally not a fan of the guy but he’s a joy to watch and follow. The 2nd thought was Lake Trout and Dumpster Juice---Fishy and Stinky. As the details leaked pout my gut felling was confirmed either that or the rice cassorle was coming back up but Tiger Woods done got into some Ish’. Now what exactly went down is still sketchy but we can all agree something ain’t adding up.

So called Timeline

2 a.m. Tiger gets into a accident knocking over a fire hydrant then going into a tree.
2:15 a.m. Tiger Wife runs out grabs a 9 iron smashes the window and revives Tiger who apparently was “knocked-out” by the crash
3-5 a.m Tiger is taken to the hospital with some cuts, scrapes even though the air bag didn’t deploy.
The story breaks hit the web and all hale breaks loose.

What Really Happend Timeline

2a.m. Tiger comes home after a night of Hennessey and Black & Milds acting belligerent and rapping Snoops Aint No Fun if the Homies cant Have None. His wife says hun can you keep it down -He says sure and goes to his stereo and scrolls his ipod and turns up Wu Tang Clan Aint Nuthin to F*%k Wit. At this point Ellie (his wife) says “I dont know why your acting like this” Tiger “What izzzzzz you saying, this is wack I’m out”. Tiger walks down steps Ellie follows behind. “Where are you going”, Tiger “to my den to watch New Jack City”. Now here were the story gets a little purple hazy…..Tiger says uck New Jack City and heads for the garage, Ellie blocks his path, Tiger slighty nudges her and she bumps into his 5th PGA Award. On her way from getting up she grabs his bronzed 9 Iron from when he was 5yrs old and takes a swing at him. Not only is he the best golfer but he has cat quick reflexes and dodges the swing. He walks to the garage and hops in his Caddy Truck (which is parked Azz in). While in the car puts in his Gucci Mane CD and drives out the garage. Now where is he going?????? Personally, I think 2 places…his mistress house or the 7-11 to get and Arizona 99cent Green Tea and some more Blacks(wood tips preferably). So as he’s backing up Ellie runs thru the door and jumps on the hood……The Rest is all Speculation….LOL

So where do we go from here. Clearly this is Tiger really 1st chink in his bulletproof Nice guy image. Nobody is buying that lame’ass story that his PR team is trying to spin. In fact as I’m writing this Tiger and his wife have reschedule there interview with the police….um um I guess they need more time to get there alibi together. This is why Sports/Entertainer Worship is such a dangerous thing. It creates such a false sense of actually knowing the true person. Tiger is an Incredible Golfer but how in the hale do we know how he is behind that fake big ass smile and those corny commercials. The Jigga Man said it best….”IT’S ONLY SO LONG FAKE THUGS CAN PRETEND”

The best part of about Thanksgiving is getting to watch cable(screw you comcast). Wow i’ve been away for awhile. 2 things that really grabbed me was--Why in sam hell did the channel formally known as Sci-Fi changed to Sy-FY and secondly The Kardashian. Now I get it….the whole time I thought it was all about Kim but there's a deeper layer to the show. I literally woke up at 8am and managed to catch all the episodes including the Wedding. Speaking of the Wedding, I never really seen Lamar Odom outside of Lakers game but he very lucky to be 6’10 cause he boob. Btw for everything about the Lakers visit Lake Show. Man that show is so compelling, the true enigma is Kourtney (who in my views is the prettiest one). Her baby- father is a total slime/sleaze wretched swine of the earth type.

Ohhhhh before i forget (thursday on mtv @10)….I hope all have there black and white striped kangol, white swishy pants, cut off tee shirts, steroids, nasty techno music and unnecessary fights…..cant wait for the Jersey Shore show. “ IIII Luvvved Herr” This is the clip that I fell in love with the Jersey Shore---from the True Life series.

Since the dawn of a new year is approaching real quick….it’s a good time for a transformation. Reading a buddies facebook update she mention just how sexy Robin Thicke is. While I don’t question the mans music talent pedigree (hello his dad is Alan Thicke-not only star of Growing Pain but also creator of the Diff’rent Strokes legendary theme song) I couldn’t help but think about his complete 180 style change. This is almost comical….his 1st song he looks like….like ok Jesus…lol. The new joint he looks like Charles Jones. I guess this is what Tiger is going thru right now….I'm very eager to see how he responds to this challenge. I’m kind of torn on stories like this. On one hand I think the girl needs some serious help, it’s one thing to be a slut but it’s another to potentially get innocent people locked up. Fellas Fellas- we have to be extra careful. This is such a connivance excuse for sluts now-a-days. In this case the accuser is black but that doesn’t hide the fact, that cause of her sluttiness(sp) 7 guys lives have been ruined and some have even been cast with a proverbial Scarlet Letter. Best Month in Hiphop

Happy Days….Happy Days are here again…. Not since the glory days of skipping school to go up to the Columbia Mall to cop the latest cd’s has there been a week like this. Hova da God dropped the much anticipated BluePrint 3. While it’s a very good album with about 5 standout tracks, the crown jewel of the week was Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2(OB4CL2). Usually sequels are much lamer then the predecessor; T2 and Aliens {both by James Cameron, are the rare exception}-(WORST SEQUELS-Matrix 2 anybody,Teen Wolf Too (they couldn’t even spell it right, that’s how bad it was).

Most will try to compare Linx 2 to the Linx 1, but that so unfair. The 1st one was something so raw, so fresh so innovative...In fact in my trusted views, It's the Gr8est Hip-Hop Album Ever.

Peep this awesome review from Linx 1 from XXl------> CUBAN LINK REVIEW. Moving forward ,the standout tracks on OB4CL2 are mindboggling. House of Flying Daggers is a punch you in the face with a Tyson like sting, classix Wu via the late J-Dilla; peep the video-

My two fave tracks on the album are Cold Outside and Gihad. These are the most blatant display of Ghost and Rae rawness. They have such an synergy when they hop on the same track, raw and unapologetic. Cold<-CLICK) is so damn soulful, it sounds like they flip a Anthony Hamilton sample and just kill it. Now Gihad<-CLICK) is the crown jewel, Perfection. Ghost is in rare from, he shows why he one of the most vivid mc’s ever. He tells a story of twisting up shorty when her man comes home and Ghost manages to convince the other guy to “Go to the Store or ill blow your Balls off.!!”-maybe my 2nd favorite Ghost on a Date gone wrong song(peep---> WILDFLOWER<- CLICK). Although Nas didn’t make it on the new joint, the outside Wu babies of Beanie Sigel-Have Mercy, Kiss & Jada-Broken Safety more then make-up for it. I guess i could go on and on, I could talk about having legendary producers--RZA, Dr Dre and J-Dilla, I could go about Legendary Mc’s like Ghost, Mef, Busta Rhymes or the younger guns Beans, Kiss or Styles P. I could talk about how energize my good buddies are after hearing the album…there was even talk about getting some 40’s and Greek Village (Get Sum) for old time sake. I could but there’s no need…this is the purest, rawest well put together album since The Blueprint…This is how you make a Sequel. After 15 yrs…Chef cooked up another Classix SIDENOTE: One of the elements that made the Wu so different was there Slang and Ad-libs. Who could forget “The Blue & Cream” skit

After winning the chip, here’s a list of some off season events:

Phil Jack finally commits to coming back after 10 championship. What a life, he coaches the world champs, messes with the owners daughter who also posed for playboy…..
In a one on one swap, we get Ronny Artest for our 24 y/o lanky uber athletic Trevor Ariza. On paper it’s a slam dunk, Artest is the former DPOY who is lock down and can drop 20 with ease…Now off the court; Anybody who follows TruWarrier96 on Twitter knows Ron isn’t like any other NBA player. Lakers fans will say Phil has dealt with Rodman but Rodman was an act…Artest is really a nut. We could easily do a whole feature on Ronny but there more to digest.
Ohhhh Lamar Odom, the most frustrating player in the NBA. With his physical tools he should be a perennial 20 and 10 guy instead he’s got Phil Jackson looking like Gandalf from Lord of the Rings- . Now this, he’s getting married to Khloe Kardashian after a few months of dating. Now from a distance it’s not that bad, there both pretty well off and nice looking people but she’s also dated at least 4 other basketball players this year.

Did we also mention Ronny and Odom both got new deals for a combined 80mill. Did we also mention they know each other for years growing up in Queens NY.

So let me get this str8 you put 2 NYC cats in LA, with a a boat load of distractions', busty bombshells', & awesome Weed.

As far the court goes, the Lakes look stronger then ever. Flat out Artest is an upgrade over Ariza, Gasol looked strong in winning the Euro Mvp and Championship, Bynum just picked up 2 fouls before this blog was even posted {I joke I kid} but he should be ready to put it all together, Fish is Fish, would love to cut his minutes down and save them for the off’s and Bean is only the Best Player in the World.

The West will be tough and as always the target will be on out back…but when the smoke clears…..BACK 2 BACK is in the forecast!!!!

DIRECTOR’S COMMENTARY: “Redman wanted to shoot it in Jersey where he lived, in the worst area—it used to be a Jewish neighborhood, and his house was across the street from a Jewish cemetery. So, I show up and park outside his house at 5 o’clock in the morning. He was sleeping, and I wouldn’t knock on his door because I was scared! So I went around the neighborhood and shot all these faces in black and white, for four hours. He finally woke up at 11 [laughs]. We go down to this one abandoned house in the neighborhood where everyone sits on the stoop. What a Waste!!

I was reading my literary inspiration Bill Simmons Mail Bag, he broached a topic of wasted potential. He named : Eddie Murphy, Whitney,Doc Gooden, Mike Tyson

I brought this topic up with my brother who adamantly argued that Eddie did not waste his talent. He noted the Bev.Hills Cop Trilogy(we all know 3 was a waste of dvd space) and such 90’s movies like Vampire in Brooklyn & Distinguished Gentlemen. After such a compelling argument, we have to scratch Eddie of the the list-Note: later that day he told he thought Metro was a top 5 cop movie and Mike Rapport is a top 5 white actor’s--.

Whitney, he says she gets a ten year clearing of her record due to the Bobby Brown. What a talent, movie star look, awesome voice but couldn’t get past Bobby and his web.

Doc, we didn’t really get a chance to see his prime. I have to do more research on him but most of the so called experts say he could have been a top 3 pitcher of all-time.

Martin was something to behold in the early 90’s. On Def Comedy Jams - he was pure energy. He was a master of comedy-funny, smart and could work a crowd. You So Crazy wasn’t just a comedy routine it was a tour de force. I can still recite every joke to this day. I’m guessing You So Crazy had the same effect as Raw and Delirious for the prior generation (34-45). The tv show,,,,what a show…Top 5 of all time and made Blacks relevant again in my eyes. The show even 2day still holds up (which in my eyes is the mark of gr8ness). So what did Martin do with all his talent, well after the smash Bad Boy he’s found on the LA Freeway jogging in a hoody and waving a gun screaming Fight the Power. As Rick James would say “Cocaine is a hell’uva drug”. I think that event led to the spark in his brain that said..uck being funny lets get paid. This led to such gems as Big Mama House, 1st Knight, Welcome Home Roscoe Jones and the legendary Wild Hogs. Most Blacks are Martin apologist and deny this epic fall-off but I love the guy to much to allow him to get away with not becoming the Legend he had the potential to be….

TMAC

Tmac is the most fluid ballplayer I ever graced my eyes on. 6’8 with stupid long arms, incredible jumping skills..there nuffin’ he couldn’t do on the court. Tmac had the type of talent that could party all night, twist up 2 shorties, miss shoot-around, not eat all day and then score 35pts in the game. I’ve seen this cat score 50 pts on the Wiz and miss 12 free throws. So what did he do with all this talent…he manged to never get out of the 1st round in the offs’. He managed to barely play a full a season. Tmac is a nice guy, he fights for Darfur and other charities but he lacks the passion to be one of the best. He has the physical tools Kobe could dream off but he lacks the passion and focus Kobe does.

L-boogie….had it all……and I mean it all. Model looks, could sing, one of the illest mc’s, could write music, act, already a world mega star with about 10mill copies sold and then……Simply Shorty became a Nut. There’s no other way around it. I don’t know what I could suspect she had men issue but who knows…..The Biggest Waste!!!

The Only One’s

Aww the haziness of summer is upon us…..We yearn for the sunny mornings where you can sleep under the window and that gentile summer breeze…..Also time for vacation, mainly for the 1st family. Will it be Camp David, maybe Hawaii…Decision..Decision!!!. We’ll if early reports are true the 1st fam will be chilling at the Hamptons. I’m not really shocked, it’s a typical hangout for Black Dems. The Clintons and Kennedy will also be in surrounding areas--if they need some weak liberal tea time. As you can sense from the potency of my words, I’m not a huge fan of the played out Hamptons. A little background on the Hamps for those who think it just started getting popular after PDiddy party: “In 1912, a former slave named Charles Shearer opened the first summer inn in Oak Bluffs that catered specifically to black patrons. Very interesting, I know some of these Only Ones..or should I say I know the type. There usually the fairer skin blacks, very proper, smart, most of the guys date white woman and do serious hard drugs i.e. more then weed. The girls are gorgeous, smart and very very freaky. In fact we had a group called Jack & Jill similar to them. They would constantly try to “recruit” me and my family to join there pseudo gang. One way or another we never joined them, I Guess we were too Hip-Hop for them. As i get older I’m still too hip-hop for them but I do see there point a little clearer. That’s the Dilemma I face. I’m part of a New Wave of Black Intellect that’s smart, edgy & knows how to thrive and communicate with other cultures. We grew up listening to Biggie, Jay, Nas and Pac…watching movies like Menace, Juice, Goodfellas, Do the Right Thing and X. Were smart, dominant, quick tongued with a dash of hip-hop. Were like Jedi’s, caught in between the word of Black upper crust yet were not corny and insidious. UGGGh.

Getting back to the story at hand, who really gives a ish’ where the 1st family stays for there million dollar a week summer vacation. Most of us, work our asses the whole summer just to maintain and maybe take some small mini vacations. You see the fundamental difference is rarely color or other topical things….it’s the Elitist Attitude. I guess I wont be invited to Puffy’s Linen Party Now!!!

We’ll not really a beef, but the fact that you ain’t even tell no one in your staff, where you went to. Nobody, you don’t have no good friends on your staff that you could have told. I know i get banged for not 100% blindly being in love with the “idea” of marriage but I 100% don’t encourage it if your under 60 and rich. Movie Hopping

Went Movie Hopping for the first time in a long time. You really forget that for 8 matinee you should really get 2 movies…..hey it’s a recession. Back in the day, we used to movie hop sneaking in 40’s of 211 preceded by a Dutchy Session but today I pack a turkey sandwich and cheese and crackers……I’m getting old…lol. The previews of some of summer movies were so-so. From the re-tread and we ran out of fresh ideas studio desk is a new Final Destination movie.

The first movie to grace my pupils was the much anticipated Hangover. I really love Vegas----this movie delivered…funny, crass and cleaver---gr8 cameos….just an excellent movie

When I see movies like this , I have to think just how much Seth and Judd really changed the Comedy Game. Before most comedies were safe and funny—think American Pie. 40yr old Virgin brought rude, dick and masturbation crassness that Hollywood was yearning for. Hangover is an awesome ride—you should hop on.

The second movie I peeped was Star Trek. For the Trekkies like me you’ll love for the non trekkies you’ll love it……Win-Win. The action was swift, the plot set-up was nice, Zoe was looking tasty and they had Spock---naw the real Spock!!!. By the way Capt. Kirk might have the most G in the whole universe---dood was about to twist up a Green honey….lol.

The only downside to Star trek was the appearance of Tyler Perry as the head of StarFleet….sike naw no Tyler bashing but I did ponder something profound as I watched Hangover. Why aren’t there any Black movies in the similar vein. Are you telling me there no 25-40 Black guys that are successful yet still like to have a good time, ogle at woman and make dirty jokes. That what really gets my blood boiling, I like to think it a lot of Black Men out there like that but were only portrayed as the up tight fly dressing type, the smoked out homeboy or the Rapper/Ballplayer. Ohh well I'm sure the next Tyler Perry Movie will save us.

Speaking of movies—i visited my fave DVD joint aka The Used Bookstore and found 2 Bangers for under $6 bucks. On Deadly Ground staring the incomparable kung-fu legend Steven Segal and Munich staring Eric Bana and directed by Stevie Spielberg. Deadly Ground is a way before Eco-Action film based on a rogue Oil Worker/Eskimo/Pony Tail worker against A Rogue Oil Company called Exxxon(3 x’s cause they hardcore). --Off tangent: why they hale are we so cot damn depending on Oil. Like I get the need for it….I do but WTF—Are you telling me in 2010 were still using the same energy source. I reiterate the cot damn Ford Model T got 21mpg in 1908; The renowned Honda Accord gets 22mpg-best and worst mpg. So in more then 100 years we basically have the same Fuel standards. Last thing on this subject, is it weird that Exxon is the only company to have record profits for the last few years…..If it looks like shyt and smells like shyt, It’s probably shyt.

For long time readers and acolytes should know my stance on Churches and the Black Race. Well those two dogmatic ignorant pair have teamed up and reared it ugly head again. Let me preface the story a little. In the grand territory known as DC aka Chocolate City, there's an ongoing feud between Gay's and Black(go figure). Apparently some black constituents are very opposed to Gay Marriages. What's even more disturbing is the Mega churches that are fueling the fire with more separatism and hate. One of the leaders is Harry Jackson. Jackson is a so called “Conservative Bishop” scum who is fueling this fire of hatred. This story has 3 of the things I cant stand most...Black Peoples Ignorance Fear/Conservative Tactics &Scum of the Earth turned Amazing Grace singing Crooked Ass Church Folk. Even the in-defeatable Marion Barry chimed his $800 derby in. Barry -- “A few weeks ago Marion Barry promised that Ward 8 would lead a "Civil War" against gay marriage in the District. Some of us found his comments not only repulsive, but preposterous. A cot damn Civil War cause they want to get married......really. Sure this is a topic for discussion—hey that just reality, this country is about 200 years behind on most civil/social progressive ideas.....Hello Interracial Marriages were only legal about 40 years ago. The thing that rubs me wrong is... Why are we fighting this Issues so agressively when there so many more important and pressing ones. For instance- HIV, Deplorable Education, 3rd World Living Conditions etc. In fact I spent almost 3yrs in Ward 8- Marion Barry's district and I can honestly say It was the greatest social experiment I've ever experienced. But nothing can compared to Ward 8---I mean your talking about a place that just got there 1st Super Market less then 3yrs ago. Crime---I don't even want to fully hit that chamber but all I can say is, In a 3 block walk from my spot to the Metro- you will see no less then 4 cops cars and yet the Crime is still going up like Oprah Chicken Intake. In saying all these things, it still has some of the most hardworking compassionate people I ever encountered. So why is there so much venom for Gay marriages. It has to be deep rooted in the overall fear and conservativeness of Black People. A topic that I have battled and discussed in great length in previous award winning Blog. For all our flavor and bravado were so afraid of change and so fearful. If the confused Republican Party is listening—this is a golden opportunity to slide in and capture a huge segment of the much needed black vote. If the Republican can capture the dazed and confused unintelligent Church Folk they will be on there way back to prominence..........

Oh My MY MY MYLANTA---
As a write to ya on the eve of the West Conf. Finals, the Lakers Hate is growing by the billions. First it was Sir Charles, Mark Jack and the 10yr stiff known as Timmy Legler all picking Denver to beat us. Hell even the Sports America nationwide poll had the Nuggs beating us. No I can be the first to admit, the Rockets series was madly frustrating. But the playoffs are all about match-up and to be honest the rocks just matched up with us damn good. Think about it like a knuckle ball pitcher against Barry Bonds. The 1st few times at bat the knuckle ball baffles the batter—it moves very and awkward and funky than a regular pitch. Soon the Batter adjusts and the knuckle pitcher gets his ass rocked.....note: no knuckle pitcher has ever won a Cy Young or consistently won 20 games. In saying that, the Nuggs just don't match-up good with the Lakes. The formula for beating the Lakes is tried and true---quick pg who can penetrate like a Catholic Priest at the YMCA.

Well after 2 games with the Chix Nuggets------it officially a Dog Fight. Both games have been a draw with the Lakes winning game 1 due to the singular brilliance of Bean. The overall tenor of the game was incredible. I took in the game at my local watering hole and the game was so intense that I had to explain the game to a hot dirty blond why I was standing up and cheering so loud. It so fun explaining the game to dirty blonde's------. Game 2 was the roller-coaster of all games. Lakes played with energy and gusto obtaining a 15 pt lead. Like typical Lakes they 'uckin give up the lead and get into a back and forth battle. The Nuggs played tuff and hung-on for the win......This team is so damn frustrating...Frustrating like being on the 4th date and still waiting on a Blow-Job FFFrustrating!! Whats ever more upsetting is Phil Jack game management and substitution pattern. I know it sac-religious to bang on Phil but 'uck that—nobody can escape Da Wicked's Wrath. Here's some of Phil blunders

1.Andrew Bynum conundrum-- Bynum was having a killer 1st half in game 2, got some quick fouls and Phil didn't play him the whole second half.

2.Fisher is playing like Joan Rivers out there, clearly he shouldn't be getting more then 12min a game. Our best option is Farmar and Brown getting the bulk of the minute's—and I know he loves Fish steadiness and experience so he could start him 1st and 4th qtr.

3.Use those Cot-Damn timeouts- For some strange odd reason were getting off to uber slow starts. Phil like the team to figure out there problems and correct them, well by the time they figure it out were down 13points.

The Lakers are a flawed team...there's no denying that but they are also the most talented. To go into Denver and win a game will take a Herculean effort,,,a total team effort combined with focus, heart and cohesion. Maybe it is fun to stay at the YMCA

I was listening to The Herd this week and one of his guest was the great Malcolm Gladwell http://www.gladwell.com/blink/index.html- for those still stuck only on Hip-Hop Magazines and Zane books, he wrote The Tipping Point, Blink- and The Outliers. In a sense he's a Forward Thinking Cerebral Guy who ultimately thinks the brain works on split second decision rather then long drawn out judgments which are usually fueled by Fear and Doubt. While his way of thinking is being debated and reviewed throughout the Intellectual World, found a new book that looks interesting and engaging- The Think Big Manifesto by Mike Port http://www.thinkbigmanifesto.com/bigideas.html. The most weighty and salient quote I got from the website is: “When we think big, it is contagious. But beware: When we, or others think small, the influence is that much more virulent. As much as we influence others, so are we are at risk of catching others’ values and actions, of coming under their influence. If we surround ourselves with small thinkers, we will think small”.
I intimately and utterly agree with that statement and I think that's one of the biggest quandaries of the African American race and why I figure it will be hard(not impossible) for me to find a long-term mate in my race. I'm gonna get blasted on this but how long can we fake the funk. Have you ever noticed why the people with most vexatious(look it up) attitude have the biggest egos yet are the smallest thinkers. They stick to the roots of there same true and tried methods-same style, some routines, same area to live in, very rarely venturing out of there comfort-zone.....most confuse the comfort for strength but in reality it's Fear. I think that Fear is the biggest clogging and retardation issue of the under 50 African American Race and especially African American Woman. Think about what AA woman are mainly known for----Attitude's. Now lets also be real here, black woman go through the most shyt out all cultures and thus one can understand why they have to have a little edge to them, but some of this stuff goes way above and beyond. For someone like me who is a Big Thinker and Forward Thinker, I cant seriously think that being around someone with a Huge ego yet think Small be beneficial to either side. Hey Blame it on my Parents!!!!

I know this is little old but I took my dad to the Nats game 2 weeks ago against the Florida Marlins. Beautiful Sunny day, baseball with your Pops is an American Pastime. Now to preface how messed up the Nats situation is, one most do a little digging. They came to DC amid high hope and aspiration, the city built a 660million stadium just before the economy slowdown and while half of all DC students were below level in reading and math. All in all they had a hard time getting 20k to there home-opener and are avg. about 13k for home. They set the record for lowest attendance at a new stadium last season. Add it up and there a mess and we haven't even touched the field yet. They have lame to just below avg. players, sorry pitching and shoddy defense...these are things a fan who just got over Swine Flu could see...eww there so not Fluid. Ok enough of the bashing back to the game-so as me and my dad are enjoying are our Peanuts that we got from Giant @ 2.00 per pound rather then the Nats Stadium 6.00 for the same pound, we deiced to leave in the top of the 9th with the Nats up 3-6 and one out. There no way they could lose—you could honestly roll the ball to home plate and not lose at this point. As we hop on the Metro to go home, a fan tells us that there in the 11th inning....The look on my Pops face was priceless—WTF. So we hop off the Metro and got in the car, turned the game on just in time to hear the the Marlins hit a 2run homer to win 8-6....The Joys of being a Nats fan.

I saw the movie Cadillac Records this week, pretty good. The gem of the movie was Jeffery Wright-he of Peoples Hernandez and Martin Luther da King fame. Look at the range of this guy to from Puerto Rican Thug to the King. Beyonce played the tormented trouble soul singer Etta James. She did a nice job which leads me to the potential she had in her new movie. If she ever wants to be known as a credible actress and not just a pretty face she gotta play an edgy role. Now in her new movie she should have played the slutty role. Think how Will Smith from Fresh Prince to playing a gay snob in 6 degrees of Separation. So to Beyonce PR team, next movie think Slutty.

When I need inspiration I either watch a lot of Porn or watch the Wire season 3. As I have said on the blog numerous times, it's the finest most unrivaled-unequaled-unsurpassed tv show ever. With my on-going battle with Comcast, My news ritual is going to my local watering hole and watching the games. Luckily it's baseball, hockey and NBA playoff time. I'm really getting into the whole Caps thing. There a very good team and has a lot of fan support. Ohh boy, at my watering hole they even dye the beer red for the Caps! To be honest I'm thinking about calling a truce with Comcast. Thoughts on the NBA Off's

Lakers need to ratched up the intensity. There so good and so fluid that they feel they can coast and chill. Round 2- Lakers will sweep the Rocks...Lakers will Sweep!!!!!!

Bos-Chi was fluid theater. Both teams played with a hunger and focus rarely seen in a 2-7 match-up. Game 7 was anti-climatic compared to the others but good nevertheless. One person who has gotten on my good side is Rondo. He a scrappy sneaky lil' dirt ball, he could play on my team....he's avg a trip double and like 4 to 1 assist to turnover ratio.

Dallas will beat Denver.....Simple. I like the match-ups for Dallas. I think this will be the most competitive and engrossing match-up of the 2nd round. Look for a hard Dampier foul and some static between Cuban and Jr Smith.

The L'eastern Conference is a waste of time, I wont spend another second thinking or talking about it.

The Almighty Dollar. In the recent conditions of the nasty economic windfall most retail stores are down.....Target is getting smashed like Whoppi Goldbergs hot comb (love ya whoppi). When money gets tight, I go to the Dollar Store. Not just any Dollar Store, the most official Dollar Tree. Your probaly thinking all Dollar Stores are created equal....and that a huge lie. In the same shopping center we have 2 different Dollar stores. One is a Dollar Tree and the other is Dollar General. Since dollar general was closer I went to it first. Now I only went in there for some Toilet Paper, Paper Towels and Hand Sanitizer. 3 simple items, a 5min and $3.15 trip right......WRONG. I scoop my items and head to the register. A fly mamacita scans and tells me the Toilet Paper is 2.79........The Paper Towel is 1.89 and luckily the hand sanitizer is 1.00. How in the hale do products at a dollar store cost more then a dollar. That damn near $5 for those 2 items, I could have gone to Giant for that. So I calmly lied and said I forgot my wallet and hauled ass up to the Dollar Tree. Awwww the sweet sound of hearing your dollar stretch. Dollar Tree is so UBER. It's 'ucking traded on the NYSE- the stock is actually one of the few discount retail stores to stay up and steady at $40 a share. So after I pick up the items I needed, I cruise the store and admire there awesome snack arsenal. The holy grail of snack world has been found. Your talking all the Hershey family- the 8pack mini butterfingers, baby ruth's, snickers, goobers, snocaps, 4 pack of the regulation size Keebler animal crackers and rice krispie treats. They got the 4 pack of fruit- rollups and granola bars. These are the same granola bar that I love and sell at Giant for 4$. Ohhhhhh Mylanta, If I was a Stoner, this would be Munchie Heaven. Non Stoners don't fret, they have awesome cleaning supplies, flowers, house goods and even picture frames. I love this place!!!! Dollar Tree is the place for Me!!!!

I was out celebrating my homey Mikey b-day last weekend. It was a stone cold evening celebrating with all my brothers and friends. I was rapping with my good buddy Butter and his lovely wife Jess (why u do that to Mikey). They have been 100% organic for some time now and we was going over the benefits and options. I was doing some more research on healthier foods and ran into this article about SALT.Damn, this is one of the most shocking and compelling articles I ever read. Funny when fat people get on health kicks but I got one more nugget. Men's Health comprised a list of the most un-healthiest restaurant. Surprisingly the list consisted of more sit down spots then fast food. In fact McDonald received a B+ while Baja Fresh got a D. Why Baja...why did you have to do it. Baja is/was one of my fave spots for lunch. When I worked in Bethesda, me and my good buddy Marble would get the Burrito Ultimo Chicken. An incredible tortilla concoction of grilled chicken, lettuce tomatoes and salsa verde topped up with some pico da gallo. An instant party in your mouth but then you read this review

PEACE TO ALL

In memory of March Gladness, I wanted to get back to basics and do a Huge Sports Edition. Well with NBA heating up, March Madness and the ever omnipresent NFL off season it's a good time to build and destroy the Sports Industry.

March could be the most special month in the whole calendar. Think about it, from an Historic standpoint Julius Caesar coined the phrase “Ides of March” predicting his own bloody assassination http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/03/0311_040311_idesmarch.html. BTW, one of the best books ever. I have to thanks my 10th grade English teacher..Mr. Rosen for really breaking that glorious book down on deceit and dis-trust even amongst friends. In today's times, March represents the most purest and fluid sporting event known to man....NCAA Tourney. The tourney is huge....massive. CBS recently re'upped the contract to broadcast the tourney for an astounding 6.4 billion.......Billions son. Big Business son!!! BTW, I'm going to say son after important statements to more solidify my points....okay...son!!. There's no denying that the overall product of NCAA is down. When I was growing up in my teens the ACC was king of all kings. I'm a huge UNC fan and huge Duke hater, back in the day you had so much balance and good players and teams. You had Timmy Duncan, Childress(best 3 games I ever seen someone play- he was like Teen Wolf , Rodney Rodgers etc., UVA had Curtis Staples, Howard Deane and Junior Burroughs, Clemson had ballers, MD had ballers, the league was thick. I remember faking being sick to stay home and watch the Friday games...thanks Mom. But like anything that goes up, money will bring it down. Once the one and done rule of the NBA came into play, the overall level of continuity dropped. There's not many players one can grow up and follow religiously sans Tyler Hans. In saying that, I think my beloved Tar Heels will cut the net's down in Detroit. There hungry, there deep, tall, poised......it's all or nothing. BTW, it always good to see the ole alma mater in the tourney. That's right The Mighty Morgan Bears have made the tourney as the 15th seed. They will play the #2 Seed Oklahoma team. Im gonna be 100% honest,they have a legit chance to beat them. I'm fully aware that they have the number one player in college basketball, they have major holes in there team. Plus, it's not like Morgan hasn't played legit major basketball teams,they convincingly beat the Terps. Late Addition: I was watching the UNC-FSU game at my local watering hole and I came up with a theory....Well call it the Down Go Frasor Rule. If your slow and white and can't shoot free-throws you shouldn't be playing major college basketball. This rule was created after watching the 7yr senior Bobby Frasor play against FSU. Now to preface how sorry he is, you have to understand he's only still on the team cause he gives Tyler Hans' the most fluid Tugjobs on the team bus. Seriously, he played so damn bad it was painful to watch. In the last 15seconds of the 1st half, he turned the ball over then came down on defense and fouled a 35foot jump shooter. Final stat line: 33mins, 2 pt 4 fouls 1 ast. Need I say more........One assist, honestly...you can accidentally get one assist. Plus he missed 2 free throws.

The confetti is falling, tears are flowing....the crowd noise is deafening. The champs are waiting for there championship trophy....OK the commissioner is making his presentation. “I'm proud to present this trophy as the 2008 Off-Season Spending Championship to the Washington Redskins”. I don't want to beat a dead horse, but something needs to be done with the overall ineptness of the Skins front office. There a hierarchy in every business model, usually a President, VP, Controllers, Workers etc. No different then in a Professional Sports team- Owner-Gen. Managers-Players. Most of the NFL is setup like that....well except one......The Skins. We have a ambitions and hungry owner Danny Boy but no General Manger. Our personnel guy has no real title..Vinny Cerato ...whose name sounds like an extra from Good fellas. I never knock anyone getting money,like Hov said “Cant knock the hustle” and I don't. The problem is not regulated to one person, it's the organization of the the Organization( if that makes sense). Right now there no one held accountable for horrible moves, who to blame for the Adam Archuleta deal. Do you blame the man writing the check or the guy who asked for him. Accountability is the base in any positive business relationship. Now lets dissect some of the moves they have made this off season. In a nutshell they spent 72 millions on Haynesworth, Hall and Dockery.
Haynesworth is a monster there no doubt about that. He 6'6 300plus 2x all-pro defensive monster. His last 2 years were the most productive as his former team the Titans dangled the golden carrot( one year contract) in his face. Now that he's got the Golden Egg and the Goose, he still going to be motivated and hungry to stay in pristine condition. My gut tells me yes, at least for 2 season but Riddick Bowe said it best “it's hard to get up and and train when your wearing silk pajamas”. I couldn't have said it better. Absolutely no more trades. Just look what the Jason Taylor trade. He played in like 10 games, got like 4 sacks cost 8mill and cost some draft picks. In the sake of trying to renegotiate his deal this year, he basically quits and walks out on 8mill cause he doesn't want to train in DC over the summer. Yes he walked out on 8mill cause he didn't want to run and lift some weights in DC. I think I hate all professional athletes......... The point being now were out of draft picks and 8 mill for 4 sacks. Not much ROI (return on investment). When the Haynesworth deal went down, I got a call from my good high school buddy LA. His justification for such a deal was “we spend money, that what we do”.
Build from the ground-up...Drafting is where your money is made. Think about the most consistent team's in the NFL. Steelers, Pats, Eagles and Giants(that hurts)

Steelers- Big Ben, Hines, Willie Parker, Holmes, Harrison all drafted by Steelers
Pats- Brady, Bruschi, Cassel, Vrabel(recently traded), Wilfork all drafted
Eagles-Mcnabb,Westbrook (4th round) all drafted

The proof is in the proverbial pudding. Players are younger, hungrier and cheaper when you draft them. Then you can always re-sign them when there proven there worth. The only way to the win consistently in anything is depth. The Skins like most teams need depth, there defensive line, offensive line, special teams....everything. I think the Haynesworth move will be good but at what cost. Let's put it in lament term's. The Denver Broncos and The Skins are very similar, both are 500., young franchise Qb's and very ambitious owners. On the surface there headed in the right direction. Wrong---Wrong. This off-season, the Broncos( signed 12 free agents for 39.52 mill & have 9 draft picks. One of my wet dreams is to create/run a network that covers sports fairly. The biggest problem I have with the stinky giant known as espn is there racist coverage. For instance, Jags WR Matt Jones who was caught and charged with sniffing half a Peru last year was arrested last week for parole violation-

The story would have been lead story on the 6pm SC.*****He was finally released by the Jags on 3/15/09***** There no way around the unfair coverage to black athletes. Cutler is who a young all-pro QB is quite upset with his new coach for trying to trade him. He has refused to sit-down and talk to his new coach or ownership. While this story has gotten a lil buzz, could you imagine if let's say........Donavan Mcnabb would have pulled a stunt like that. He would be called a Malcontent, Team Wrecker etc. Lastly, how in the hale is Byron Leftwich still not signed. Racism still alive, they just be Concealing It.

The NBA is winding down or should I say heating up for the playoff push. The usual suspects are gearing up for one of the most historic playoff push...Lakes, C's and Cavs. Of course my personal fave and consensusly most hated Lakers have the best record in the league. I like to nudge my friends and say there full of Laker Hate. It's a sad sickening disease, it a chronic disease that makes them text you when the Lakes lose and never answer there phones when the Lakes destroy the Spurs and other teams. The worst case of Laker hate was in the 2002 WCF against the Kings. After the final horn rang and the Lakers won, my good buddy Mikey got up and left in a tizzy. That not really the bad part...the bad part was he was gonna leave my other good buddy Holla (who's is a laker fanatic and fact we were dubbed Shaq and Kobe from our friends) who he drove with. He was so upset and full of Laker hate that e was gonna leave his good buddy over the Lakers win....no other team evicts that much hatred....we'll maybe the Cowboys.
As far as the MVP race.....there is none to me . Although I feel Dwade and King James are putting up Lakers v. Celtics 1992 Sega Genesis-Bird in the corner type numbers, there no Kobe. I call it the Blind Theory, if I was a blind and you read off all 3 players numbers, I would say damn Kobe is the 3rd best out of the bunch. After watching them play, you clearly see Kobe is the best, he exerts only minimal energy and is a stone cold killer out there-. He's like Yoda out there, while the other two are young Padawans still establishing there coolness. Another reason for my Kobe love is is focus and ability to block out distractions and just play. My respect grew from his Rape Trial period, when he would go to court, fly back and go out there and score 30pts. The pressure and stress he was under was immense but he has the ultimate power of focus. Think about how lame A-Rod is handling his adversity. He gets caught, has a lame'ass press conference (with fake tears and all), show 's up to camp...mysteriously gets hurt and decides to rehab in Colorado instead of NYC. Then these picture spread drops
He's a lame on all accounts, awesome ball player but I don't have respect for him as a competitor. Like my Dad always says, “Everybody good when there up by 10, real character comes when you down by 10......sink or swim.”

Since this is the Sports Entry of all Sports Entry.... I wanted do Holy Trinity of the most influential sports figure of my life ( 27years). The criteria is pretty straight forward, you have to have dominated and performed in my era of watching and understanding sports plus have some edge to y'all...so no Tiger and too easy to put Jordan on it. Here we go!!

1. Shaquile Oneal- what can I say that hasn't been said. He was the 1st NBA player to really to be hip-hop. Some are going to argue that Jordan was, but Jordan used hip-hop but he wasn't hip-hop he still very r & b smooth. Shaq was power, strength, force of nature. 1992 was like the renaissance of Black Culture. You had Martin (the TV showed that saved Black People), You had the WU, Nas, Snoop and Biggie saving and changing the face of Rap and you had Shaq Diesel take the stuffiness out of the NBA and make it fun to be yourself and not so scripted.... and by the looks of just winning the 2008 All- Star Game MVP and being the 3rd oldest player to score 40pts, he movie is still playing.......He's Shaq-tastical

2. Mike Tyson- nothing has came close to the excitement of a Tyson fight. He was hip-hop personified. Brash, edgy, bold and 'ucking scary. He was a masterful 10 car wreck, you just had to watch. Mike Tyson Punch-Out- was an incredible game and became one of the top selling vid games of all-time. I love to watch the floyd's and roy jones fight but nothing like a Heavyweight Fight.......no jabs and going to the scorecard....America's love Knockouts....ask Hiroshima. His meltdown is legendary and poetic, it the perfect blend of sadness and greatness. Not many stories end up with everybody lives's happily ever after. 3. Allen A.I Iverson- brash, unapologetic not giving an 'ish, plus the white kids wanna be like him. Let me be the first to say I've never been the biggest AI basketball fan- he's a one dimensional high-volume scorer who doesn't make the necessary sacrifice to win games. Saying that, I love the man!!! From the moment he splashed on the scene as G'town after getting in trouble as a high school kid to being the 1st pick in the draft, AI was unapologetic. Biggie and Mef said it best “Uck the World , Don't Ask me for Ish”. If the saying is true, style defines you, then AI defined his own style. The Cornrow movement was uber and changed the game. Im going to say at least 70 percent of the Black kids my generation had cornrows, hell when David Becks got them I knew we've arrived. AI was so big, the NBA adopted a Dress Rule for him. He changed the Game. I could only imagine the faces of the parents when there kids would say 'MOM I want to be just like AI” Now that what I call Crossing Over

This was following his 1st 2 classic Ironman and Supreme Clientele so the buzz was extremely high. The 1st teaser from the classix Dj Clue mixtape “Live at the Stadium” was this classix freestyle . I remember clear as day, rolling with my good buddy LA, bumping this joint like 13x str8. The way Ghost and Rae trade verses is fluid.....”You Spray Hairspray”. Next is the seminal classic Good Times. True Ghost fans remember this joint. The beat is a straight chop'up of the Good Times Theme , this is the beauty and pureness of real hip hop......”I got the George Jeff Walk” Sadly this joint never made the album, due to sample clearance and other hang'ups., but Ghost still is delivering Good Times.......Ain't You Lucky we got them!!!

Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele, in an interview with the Washington Times, says he's planning an "off the hook" public relations offensive to attract young blacks and Hispanic voters.

The RNC's first black chairman will "surprise everyone" when updating the party's image using the Internet and advertisements on radio, on television and in print, he told The Washington Times.

"There was underlying concerns we had become too regionalized and the party needed to reach beyond our comfort" zones, he said, citing defeats in such states as Virginia and North Carolina. "We need messengers to really capture that region - young, Hispanic, black, a cross section ... We want to convey that the modern-day GOP looks like the conservative party that stands on principles. But we want to apply them to urban-suburban hip-hop settings."

Asked if this venture will be cutting-edge, Steele replied, "I don't do 'cutting-edge.' That's what Democrats are doing. We're going beyond cutting-edge."

Steele recently said that President Obama's stimulus was just "bling bling."

As I prepared for the overnight blizzard of 09, I caught the Dl Hughely Show on CNN. The 2 guest were the Chuck D and My Hero Mike Steele. Steele is so ready for the Prime time. As far as the whole Rush Limbaugh thing, people he is in an entertainer. True and Tried controversy sells....Think of Rush as a Repub. 50cent. When ratings get low or in 50's case a new record is about to drop, you got to create some buzz. I can't beleive you "people" are still falling for these tired tricks....lol.. Take a look..I've never followed trends, never was a follower. Never went the same way as the masses, always scoffed at the notion “Strength in Numbers”-- what if your following fools. That's how im starting to feel about the whole Democratic Party. They seem to be very meek and weak, win lose or draw you can respect cats that are straight up with you. I know the whole Obama thing is a major cog, but to be honest he the exception to this argument. He would have won if he was Republican of Indy, he the perfect politician. Take him out the equation and I think the Dems are some blow-hard lames. Nancy Pelosi is a joke. She's got nuffin done in the House---(this should be Hillary gig and Colin Powell should be Sec. of State). I'm not here to bang on her....(looks like Sidney is tho— , she got that I never banged an Oscar winner before smile). Some other points of the Dems weakness-

Civil liberties? Nope, they can’t even agree on Gay Marriage.
Education? Nope, they don’t want any “new” taxes to take care of the problem.
Anti-War? Nope, they showed exactly what they think about that.
Invade Iraq? Yep, fine by them.
Fund the war? Yep, can’t stop that. Obama's sending 20k to Afghanny? Of course not! Don’t be silly.
What about health care for everyone? Wow, why even suggest that? There goes a decent amount of funding, that would never happen.

On the other hand, I'm really feeling that the Republican party is turning the corner as a group. The hiring of Mike Steele was met with in trepidation by the black community. They feel as it's a Sell-Out move, Uncle Tom etc.....more ignorance. You have to think of the Black vote as the most important vote but also the least informed. Listen, the Steele appointment is only going to further our political muscle. Let me break it down

Speaking about Obama--what the deal with the Afgahny War. There's a report that he's sending 30k troops over there as some cats on horses with old rusty AK's are lighting our asses up. Afghan is a special place......the rugged terrain makes it virtually impossible to be captured by outsiders, in fact it never be seized yet many have tried. Superpowers like the Germans, British, Russian and now Americans have tried in bloody vain. As lase of the Soviets gotta whipped up by the Afghannys. Funny that war layed the groundwork for 9-11.

I could build the CIA back in a few minor steps. 1st- Stop hiring only white men that stick out like sore thumbs over in the middle east area. 2nd- Show some force and stick to your guns. 3rd- stop being so media accessible, the name of the game is espionage..be secretive They need to hit certain targets and try infiltrating from the inside out. A few sunday's ago I went to the White Turtle (NIPSEYS) with some of my friends for some wings and watch the NBA Triple Header. We got into a big discussion about marriage,love and other female topics (hey guys gossip too). I have 3.5(my brother just got engage..congrats) friends that are married and most of the others are in long-term relationships. I think me and like 3 of my other homey are the only ones not in long-term relationships. I think those that are in long term relationships look at my views and ideas on relationships as out of touch and very eccentric. For instance we got into a argument over is marriage for life. I personally don't think marriage is for life for the simple fact that it such a high rate of divorce. Things that are “For Life” should be- loving/caring for your kids and family, and staying black( except MJ)--everything else can and will usually change. My friends say I'm being cynical, and I say I'm being realistic---why go into a partnership with fake expectations. That's not to say you don't try your hardest to live and grow together etc, but the law of avg.'s and the nature of the beast your dealing with ,saying there a good chance it won't last forever. I think a Man's biggest oversight is the fact that they really think it about “them”. They think they got there wife/girl-friend cause there game/ way of treating her and all that . I try to tell them, a girls probably heard every line that ever been invented at that time, just be you but know....... Woman cheat 40% OF the time..........Take A Look!!!

The Game is the Game.....Always. No doubt if my spouse cheated on me, I would be crushed and hurt but also I knew that part of the game I was entering. Think about it, when Men cheat, were dog's, we woman cheat, we didn't give them the proper attention. “Blame Game”.
